Reinstall the driver for the Cd Drive. You should be able to download it from the manufacturer

hi Cool guy, not one of the above solutions are usable. So all you're able to do is, only get in to the BIOS and alter force order from Optical Drives menu. after which you will have the flexibility to work out your CD ROM force in ther boot device priority menu. no longer that only Optical force would be seen in the boot device priority menu. NB: If nevertheless you have doubts or you're actually not in a position you do this you'll mail or IM me. -AleX!

Why use an obsolete operating system?

Get UBUNTU. It's a free, reliable and up to date operating system. Plus you will get all of the programs that you will ever need free.

If your computer has 256MB of RAM get a full version. If less, get XUBUNTU.
