im having problem with my computer it wont allow me to go online or the net doesnt work. when i plug the wire to my laptop and xbox.. it allows me to go online but i dont know why i can get access to the net on my computer when i try to open up interent explorer it says that hte page is not available i dont get how to fix it or make to work

if u can help me out or tel me whats wrong with it so i can get it fixed, thatd be great.. thanks

I love to take photos, and back them up on a DVD after I take them off my digital camera. The other day I poped in my backup DVD of all my photos and to my HORROR! a whole lot of photos was not there. It is not a RW-DVD and I didnt delete them, and yes there were there. What could the problem be? Can I get them back at all? The CD is not scratched, and not yet full. Some folders even come up as empty! Please help me O Masters!

I installed the game on my computer and all was well until I tried to play it. The audio and video were really slow. I even switched to the lowest resolution and video quality, still slow as Heck. I asked someone about it and they said I either needed a better video card, or a graphics card. I really don't know anything about either, can someone help me out?

Apart from Yahoo! I have lycos.com for my business emails. However, on some websites when contacting the company, an Outlook Express box appears requesting your question/enquiry. On the last box it asks for your POP and SMTP servers, otherwise connection/message sent does not happen. I have Windows XP, is there a page I can view on their system. If so, how do I locate it please?

I came home to go on my laptop and had difficulty connecting through my wireless. The connection continually kicked me off the Internet each time I tried to use the WWW.

My connection to the router has always been pretty good up until tonite. I tried connecting to the Internet tonite and the computer informed I was not connected to my router, yet still had intermitent access to the Web. My connection was never a secured wireless network, yet tonite it is all of a sudden a security-enabled wireless network.

Hi all, Ive had this pc for about a year now, but everything works but the floppy drive? And I need the floppy drive to work!! Whenever I stick in a floppy, no matter what brand, and try to open it, the pc will lag for a couple of minutes then give me some error message. Its been this way since I bought it?? My good friend wants me to be a bass player in our band. The only problem is I don't own a bass or really know how to play one.
I can however sing better than our current singer who sucks!
But, we can't kick our singer out of our band because we need some of his recording equipment.
I've asked to change spots with the singer, but it hasn't worked out.
I can't afford to buy a bass but I have a Mic and amp to sing with.
What on Earth should I do.
