when i put in a DVD-RW to back up my files the first 1 worked ok then when i put the 2ed in its said wrong DVD

You've obviously got more files than will go on one disc, but your back-up program thinks it can put it all on 1 disc. Try splitting into several tasks, for example documents on one disc, pictures on another &c.
