I installed the game on my computer and all was well until I tried to play it. The audio and video were really slow. I even switched to the lowest resolution and video quality, still slow as Heck. I asked someone about it and they said I either needed a better video card, or a graphics card. I really don't know anything about either, can someone help me out?

Well, a video card is a graphics card, so you'll only need one of those. You'll also most likely need to install more RAM. If the game is really new, you may be looking at $500-1000 upgrade.

Find out what motherboard you have and look for the specs at the manufacturers website. It'll tell you what type of graphics card (like AGP, PCI, or PCIe for instance), and what type, speed, and maximum capacity of RAM it uses.

Also, with today's graphics cards, you may need to beef up your PSU (power supply unit). If you go to any major computer retailer with a little information, then can make appropriate suggestions. You'll need to know your motherboard model, PSU wattage (350, 400, etc), and how much RAM you have (including how many sticks). If you bought your computer prebuilt, you'll be able to get all the info you need from their website if you have the model number of your PC (usually on a sticker on the side or back).

You're stuck unless you get computer upgraded or a slower version of the game. Try turning off anything else that is running.
