I really need some help trying to figure out why I get kicked off so often. Its so frusterating. I spend more time connecting back to the internet than I am actually connected! Why do I get kicked off every 2 minutes? What can I do to stop this?!

logs into her laptop she always gets my messenger automatically logged in and people think it's me. How do I get this closed on her laptop, can I do it from mine cause I have messenger on my own laptop or do I have to do it from hers, it's driving us both crazy! Thanks :)

Hi guys, thanks for trying to help. I've just got talk talk broadband, finally installed the software, I'm running windows ME unfortunately instead of XP, and although I run the software all through, and it says setup complete, when I try to connect to the net it just tries to use my old dial up, and under list of connections my new talk talk account isn't there. Very annoying. please help me! Thanks guys.

Hello everybody ... why does Quicktime appears normal , but when i click on it becomes shaded ? It never happened before, but now it happens every single time and in all instances. Can anyone help me ? Uninstall and re-install won't do either (at least on the first try)

I currently have DSL that is not as fast as they advertise. Cable modem promises speeds of up to 5Mbps for downloads but is that consistent? Will I find slower speeds during peak times because there's too many people on it or is that an old wives tale? Thanks!

I keep getting a warning sign saying Windows Virtual Memory is too low. I've deleted loads of stuff from my hard drive, used disk clean up and run spyware progs but I still keep getting this warning.
And evertime the sign pops up my computer freezes.

I have had 2 emails to my hotmail account which use my real name in the subject heading. This is odd because my Hotmail name (ie the one that appears when I email someone) is a totally different name (so I can spot spam).

But I have no idea who the senders are, and their entire message is just the address' below (one was in each email). As they are similar and I received them both on the same day it is confusing me. Does anyone know what they are (as I am reluctant to click on them, oh, and I AM IN NO WAY ASKING ANYONE TO GO TO THE LINKS FOR ME! I just wondered whether anyone had come accross them before.)

Ok. Please. I need to start at the very beginning. I bought a new Dell E310 computer. How can I tell if I have a CD-RW drive? I know I have an audio CD Drive. Do I need to buy a separate drive? I hate not having an indexed hard copy manual!!! If I do have a built in CD-RW drive, how do I use it??? Can someone please--in simple steps--tell me what I need to buy and do?
