I have bought AMD Sempron 2800+ , INTERNET CONNECTIOIN IS EXTREMLY SLOW?

I'm connected to internet thru Wifi.Internet speed is extremly slow , rest all the applications are working fine.

how far from the router are you? check and make sure you have wifi enabled, and disable any other network connections.

internet connection speed can be determined by the processing speed,well if the windows are opening slow(ie when u click them)
it may be wid ur ram
