Some other errors include:

Applications will not read memory.
When turned off sometimes will not turn back on for a while..

If anyone could help me with just a suggestion or tip to a website that would help me solve this problem it would be greatly appreciated.

You know when you boot your computer, and you see a list (from Windows) so that you can choose which user to log on? Well somehow there is now only one name left, and all the info (e-mails, etc) is going to my daughters. In fact, you can't even see the other two log in names that were there. What happened and how can I fix it please?

cant use system restore as it dont go back that far and if i do wipe it clean what will i need to load it back up i've got windows xp sp2 disk what else will i need and will i be able to get them free downloaded off the internet with just the xp disk loaded i need all the information i can get please as i want to start from scratch

I have the highest speed ram that can be used and i have all the ram my mobo can have(at the limit).the HDD is the fastest my board can use and i am using the highest speed CPU i can.i have 2 HDD they both have been defragmented and have scanned for errors.

I have gone thruogh the process of restarting in safe mode and trying to remove, even turned off system restore. It tells me that another person or program is using it and must be stopped before I can remove "Rnzfk.exe". How can I find what is using it and turn it off. Thanks in advance.

I made a MP3 cd about a year ago, and have since then bought a new pc and I wanted to copy the music off the cd onto my pc. The problem is that when I go to copy I get the following error message:

"Cannot Copy. The Parameters are incorrect"

What causes this and is there anything I can do to copy this cd?

We have just bought a new Dell pc, and want to transfer our music from the old Dell pc to the new one.

Cannot use cd's as there is a LOT of music.

And have tried using my Sony mp3 player, but the new one will not accept the music as it says it's from a different computer.

There are so many formats of DVDs like DVD-/+R, DVD-/+RW, DVD-/+R DL and DVD-RAM. I know that R is for Writable, RW is for Re Writable and DL is Dual layer.

Can you please tell me what does these + and - stand for?
Also what is DVD-RAM? Is it similar to DVD-/+R and can I burn DVD-RAM in the normal burners. And does all these formats work in a good DVD Writer. I have a Sony AWG 170 (Dual layer 16x).

Please explain it to me in simple terms because I have visited tens of sites but could not clearly understand it.

my automatic updates telling me to update now. when i go on either web site or click on shield. come up with lots of updates for my computer...security and all that. go to download them. with validated xp sp2 and they all come up failed to install once downloaded... please help....

My computer is slow i have checked it for viruses and also spyware I bought the computer in january last year but its sooo slow i can type/click/scroll faster than it can process it. it is really irritating me if i try to click the box in inbox yahoo it takes like 4 seconds for it to have a green tick! Please help I have a 2.6ghz celeron 256 +512 mb Ram.... Please help its shitting me to tears!!
