When I had my music files divided up into artist and album folders, I the ID3 tags (i.e. artist, album, etc.) would show up in details view. I deleted the album folders and moved all the songs up one level into their respective artist folders (this way it's easier to load them onto my mp3 player) and the ID3 tags no longer appear. How do I get them to come up in details view?

I am staying in Hostel and below my room is a food stall, a chinese food stall which makes a lot of 'oil' when they cook. Another problem is the place I stay is quite dusty!

So the problem from that made my CPU fan greasy(oil+dust) :( ...
Can anyone tell me how to clean my cpu fan ? The heat sink also have grease on it, but the biggest problem is those fans in my CPU, so dirty and terrible. I am trying to get a compressed air can to blow those dust of but i don't think it works well for those oily grease.

It's not my cd's, I checked those already. When I try to play any music or sound for that matter (off my media player, myspace, etc.) it skips out, slows down, and basically fizzles. It didn't do it when I first bought the computer, but about a month later it started doing this.

I'm using a pretty new Gateway laptop. Don't as me about my RAM or anything, as I know nothing about it. I'm also running SpySweeper and Norton Anti-Virus.

Any help would be awesome, thanks.

One of my computers was very messed up and I was unsure of what happened to it. The only thing different I had done was run my new PCbeginner cd-rom. After installing Kaspersky anti-virus and running a check over the hard disc, several dangerous files came up from PCbeginner's folders containing trojan files or so it had said. After removing everything PCbeginner from this hard drive it is back to normal and functioning properly. Has anyone else had similar problems with this cd? I was thinking it could be a possible scam by getting access to all these people's computer databases who aren't familiar with computers in the first place, that's why they buy the cd-rom. SCAM? ANYONE?

I have read the user manuals and a ton of so called books on the subject. There are like 68 programs running when I boot up my computer and I know that is way to many, I am not a computer expert but, why do the manufactures put all that crap on the computer to make it wear out faster and slow down the preformance then try to sell us products to fix the problems but, really they are just giving us more problems?
I have an HP duel core computer and I run Windows (that is what it came with) I wonder if I should change to MAC? I have never used a MAC before but I wonder if it is better? . I am looking to get a laptop also, I have never had one before alway just a desktop. So I guess the other part of this post/question is which company is making the best laptops now?
Well I know this is long and tiring but I appricate and thoughts or answers on this subject.

so currently i have dial up internet. have an older government issue computer which requires an external plug & play modem to connect. i recently moved and at my old house(which was much older than the one i am in now), i always connected at 56.0 kbps9which is what my modem is. at my new apartment, it varies from 4.0 kbps to 23.0 kbps & every once in a while it will connect at 56.0 kbps. also, it continuously disconnects from the net, or says cannot display webpage. i have heard everything from the phone lines are too old to your modem is not working right. i believe my phone lines are fairly new, and as for my modem-if it is not working right then it must be broke because i have tried everything short of plating it in gold. i am fed up with it, so i signed up for high speed cable internet, which is like $30 more than what i am paying for dial up. my question is was this a good idea for me to do this, and is high speed cable internet worth the extra price? Thank you in advance!
