I am staying in Hostel and below my room is a food stall, a chinese food stall which makes a lot of 'oil' when they cook. Another problem is the place I stay is quite dusty!

So the problem from that made my CPU fan greasy(oil+dust) :( ...
Can anyone tell me how to clean my cpu fan ? The heat sink also have grease on it, but the biggest problem is those fans in my CPU, so dirty and terrible. I am trying to get a compressed air can to blow those dust of but i don't think it works well for those oily grease.

Do NOT remove the heatsink from the CPU unless you know what you are doing! There is an adhesive used to bind the two together and you can't just remove the heatsink and put it back on - well, at least not ensuring that it will continue to work effectively unless you completely remove the adhesive and reapply it.

If you have a microfiber cloth, moisten it with rubbing alcohol (do not soak the cloth) and wipe down the fan. As far as the heatsink, I would see what the manufacturer recommends before proceeding.

You can take the heatsink/fan assembly off of the processor (carefully) and then really clean it good. The fan should have 4 screws attaching it to the heatsink which can be removed so that you can get in there even better. Be careful when cleaning the fan so that you don't break it.

Take the tower out.. and take the fan out... sparkling it nicely with computing gadget duster... yet yeah that is completely generic.. the extra a working laptop or computing gadget an prolonged time, and fills up with documents... the RAM has to type with the aid of all that infor which calls for extra proccessing which intern produces extra warmth... for this reason the fan kicking on extra in lots of situations... in the experience that yourchronic is extra then 3 or 4years previous.. i could recommend getting a 2d one, and initiate off putting new classes and each thing on that one... exterior could be perfect.. that way thats one much less hting for the fan to sit down back....
