I have read the user manuals and a ton of so called books on the subject. There are like 68 programs running when I boot up my computer and I know that is way to many, I am not a computer expert but, why do the manufactures put all that crap on the computer to make it wear out faster and slow down the preformance then try to sell us products to fix the problems but, really they are just giving us more problems?
I have an HP duel core computer and I run Windows (that is what it came with) I wonder if I should change to MAC? I have never used a MAC before but I wonder if it is better? . I am looking to get a laptop also, I have never had one before alway just a desktop. So I guess the other part of this post/question is which company is making the best laptops now?
Well I know this is long and tiring but I appricate and thoughts or answers on this subject.

I understand that but, how do I know which programs I can safely remove? I need a resourse for this and please don't tell me mirosoft becuase they are no help at all. I don't want to mess up the way the computer runs I just want to get the extra unnessary startup programs off.
