I made a MP3 cd about a year ago, and have since then bought a new pc and I wanted to copy the music off the cd onto my pc. The problem is that when I go to copy I get the following error message:

"Cannot Copy. The Parameters are incorrect"

What causes this and is there anything I can do to copy this cd?
Thanks for your help.

put the cd in and copy it to your "my music" folder in document's, or just copy it to your desktop, or where ever ya want, once downloaded, put in a blank cd and copy. Good luck. Mikie.

I've seen this error before, but not with music. It may have to do with HOW you are copying the music. If you are using a newer program, the setup may not recognize how the older file was set up or how the CD was setup.

Use MyComputer to open the CD and copy the file directly from the CD to the desktop (or to a Music Folder) This should alleviate the 'parameter' problem.

Your older computer may have used some software that the newer one can't read. this is rare, but it does happen.
