I have a 2Wire modem and i followed all the steps it said and it shows that i have no 2wire modem in network range! I called tech support and they said they'll call me back in 48hrs. I'm a student and i can't wait that long!! HELP

i have deleted my cookies as told before, but I keep getting this error on my computer. i know i am doing it right as i followed the proper directions. is sometthing wrong with my computer ? It seems like i have to delete my cookies everyday or or every other day, does anyone know what else is going on ?

Basically, I want to separate about 3 minutes out of the middle of a 30 minute WAV file. I then need to save the separated part as a new WAV file. (It doesn't have to be WAV, just as a separate audio file).

I have multiple versions of this on my computer right now- Update 6 and Update 9. Is it ok to uninstall Update 6 without causing any problems with the Java I have now?

The first problem is that none of the websites I view have the backgrounds showing and I don't know how to enable them. For example on the yahoo homepage none of the background images load. Only the flash ads and text show up.
Normal font looks fine but titles and buttons (like next and cancel buttons) look huge. The second problem is that hugeness problem affects other windows applications such as add/remove software.

I have a pc that is hooked up to the internet but it is not wireless. I just got the playstation3 and you can hook it up to the interne, but I the pc and playstation are in different rooms. IN ENGLISH...I'm not computer savy, what can i use to make wireless internet from the connection that i have now.. I'm using BELL highspeed internet, if that helps. can i use a wireless router and how would i go about connecting all of that?

Its really old like a 98, so it's basically obsolete. But it got me through high school and stuff. But I also have dial up with it so it goes really slow. I mean really slow what could I get to make it run faster. Or what type of internet connections could I get to make it run faster.

one of my jealous cousins had uninstalled my sims deluxe edition game off the computer and she deleted it out of the recycling bin too. I tried to reinstall it but they ask for the serial number and the packet that has the serial number on it is not in the case is it any other way i can get it back on my computer? also iv got about 12 network cards and loads of other stuff, its as if its becomming a server, i get loads of spam emails and it looks different my bluetooth will only load in win me and 98 but im on xp, i have to shut down svchost system, for it to work then its faster and smoother than its ever been but all this isnt normal can anyone explain
