I have a 2Wire and i need help connecting it wirelessly to my laptop?

I have a 2Wire modem and i followed all the steps it said and it shows that i have no 2wire modem in network range! I called tech support and they said they'll call me back in 48hrs. I'm a student and i can't wait that long!! HELP

Call them again. Keep trying until you get someone to help you.
