mess up your eye sight? I have been working at a job where I have to be in front of a computer all day and it seems as if my vision is starting to screw up. Is that possible?

That is very possible. I have been working at a computer now for 5 years. My eyesight is a mess. I had perfect vision before I started and now I wear glass's.

if u work on it 9 or 10 hours then it is possible because u are staring at the computer all 9 or 10 hours.

It cannot damage your eyesight in the long run, but right now, your eyes are tired from staring at one thing for long hours (unless your job is not long houred). The eyes are meant to move and take in alot of things at once, not just one thing. Your eyes just need PLENTY of rest and it might help to put a cold compress over them while sleeping.

Yes, it is possible, and in the UK at least employers are required by law to provide free VDU eye tests to all employees using computers for a certain percentage of their day to help guard against this.

Entirely possible. Give yourself a few breaks during the day and make sure the monitor is back away from you, but still comfortable enough to view.

Yes looking at a screen no matter what type it is for long and excessive periods of use is bad for you.

yes definately your eyes do get affected by extended exposure to the screen

not really, if its a crt monitor it can be kinda hard on your eyes tho
I'm sure if you talk to a lawyer he can get you a "good" doctor and you can sue tho :)
