I just got the wireless adapter for my xbox 360, and it tells me (in the system section) to download "windows connect now" onto my computer, then onto a USB flash drive, and then plug the drive into the xbox. What is that? Whats the USB flash drive? Why is it not picking up signal?

Was able to go all ovr and visit diff sites .I feel like we have a virus or something, because I can't go on the web anymore. tried to answer some freakin survey then all these sites started dumping spam, clear it out everyday but still cant access the www.

Need to buy a new computer, will have to last me a long time. Just need it for the tons of writing that I do, some music downloading, digital camera downloading and Internet access of course. Want to spend about $800. Keep reading about this Vista, is it the next generation for Windows? Can anyone be more specific about what Vista is and why I keep seeing that everyone should buy a computer that is Vista compatible. How different IS this Vista that you need special requirements other than the common desktops out there can't handle it? Thanks.

I have a 2nd computer on a router with WindowsMe on it. When I hit the start button the WindowsMe logo comes up and just hangs. I've booted in safe mode and I get the logo again. Unfortuenately I can't find the recovery disc. It's a Gateway bought in 1999. Any help is greatly appreciated.

i just bought a HP notebook. I have an old(roughly 1995?) Compaq Presario computer. It does not contain a CD burner, and is not internet accessible. It does have USB ports though. Well my question is how would I go about on getting that information from my PC and transferring it into my HP notebook. Its nothing big, mostly old mp3's and pictures. Hopefully suggest a simple and economical method. Also, I want to get rid of the PC. After transferring the data, should I like keep the hard drive? break it? I do not want ANY of my info. leaking around if I throw it away ya know. Is there a proper way disposing of it? I think thats pretty much covers everything. Thanks!

HI everyone...my problemis that my standby button is greyed out and searching for a fix i also realised that my Graphics card/display driverdoesn't work....or it says that "the device cannot start" i tried uninstalling but it says that there is an error installing when i try to install it again.....i have also downloaded an update but there still seems to be an error...i'd really appreciate any help thanks......because the PC is starting to show signs that something is wrong...when i scroll the screen does something funny.....thank you.....any suggestions?

Ive dl a torrent, and winrar extracted it. No id like to watch it but i cant, does anyone know what im doing wrong? It has all the files but when i right click on it it doesnt have any players come up to play it. and when ive tried to play it in a player it wont play. ive also tried to use nero to put it on a disk but the files dont come up when it askes to import media files. im racking my brains here...............

when my computer starts,windows starts & i can work normally but
after about 5 mints,my computer stops responding for
about 20 mints but after that it runs normally.
why?can it be due to antivirus s/w or H/W problem or OS problem?

I use win xp(not sp2),P3 1000MHz,256 RAM,40GB HD.
