i got the message up for the second time today and choose to send it....so what will they do??

they will do nothing they must get about one million reports a day.

Absolutely nothing! All their incoming error report mail goes into a junk folder and is automatically trashed!!
Don't bother again they never resolve anything. I think it's a trick to see if you are registered legally or not.

a very good question. i am still on windows 98 so all support ends soon. i remember that sometimes when this happened it would just direct you to a microsoft help page with a very complex explanation of what the problem was.

Those file crash errors that get sent to microsoft?

They get put into a filing cabinet with the other 10 billion they receive each day because their products are crap.

they will research the report and try to find a solution to the problem, if they do find a solution then the next time u report the same error, a link will be provided linking to the solution

Usually it is supposed to send back to your computer automatic security updates for you computer to prevent future occurances
