A window pops up wanting me to connect to the net, I just want it to play the movie. Any tips on burning DVDs also? This looks harder than I thought it would be, says I have to create a web graph??

What program are you using to play movies?

Try ALShow to view the movies. It's free. http://www.altools.net/ALTools/ALShow/tabid/57/Default.aspx

Web graph?? I've never hear of that. Are you sure you're doing the right thing?

some DVDs have software programs that are activated when you pop that sucker into your computer. The Star Wars DVDs do that because they're trying to get you over to special web pages for some kind of content that's only available to owners of that DVD. All you need to do in those situations is close whatever windows open up and then you'll need to open up whatever DVD player software you have to view the movie.

Burning DVDs... what kind of data are you wanting to put on a DVD? movies? music? are you trying to author DVDs?
