Well that depends on the water in it anyway. If the water was distilled or contained almost none if any minerals that will conduct electricity absolutley nothing will happen to the electronics of the laptop. But water will leak inside the hard drive because it contains a barametic filter and it will cause the harddrive not to function possibly damage it. This is one of the devices that have a mechanacile fucntion along with the fans that won't have enough power to turn because the water is thick. However if the water contains minerals which i strongly believe it does. The water will contact the motherboard and it will essentially short out....

Individual components could be salvaged, however, you'd be out a lot of money. Don't take the chance.

well if your in the hot tub you are going to get zapped and otherwise if your not is just going to blow up and burst

Depends where the water got into.

If it caused shorts that damaged internal components then it is likely junk.

If not , it could possibly be dried out and used.

Don't take electrical appliances into bodies of water - please.

I'm guessing that it probably won't work very well again, that's if it does work at all!! it depends how much water did get in side it though.
