Hello yahooligans, could you pls tell me what is the electrostatic or electromagnetic idea of the inkjet printers?? I mean, how does it works that relates to electromagnetic or electrostatic........thanks...

Hey,

Does any one know if it's possible to have programs that can only be accessed by ONE account on my PC? I have just created a new account that I'll use for entertainment but it has all the same programs as my other account.

Also, deleting programs in the new account deletes them in the old account too.

Surely I'm missing some major detail here. I'd really like the two accounts to be independent. Can you help?

i have a 4 year old gateway laptop, it has always been fast and good, but all of the sudden one day it takes 5 minutes to get booted up( usually 2 minutes max), the mouse cursor lags and as i type right now the letters are coming a second after i type them. It lags when i open up the start tab.....i downloaded spybot search and destroy and found 15 problems...i fixed them all but it didnt change the lag, can some1 plz shed some light on this....i also used the diskdefragmenter and nothing changed..plz help.

I need help, im planning on getting a pc soon but im confuse as to which of these are better for hard drive, and im a big gamer, music, pics and just everything fan so which do you guys think its better for not having a super fast pc but not slow either, im looking for lots of space and quick pace for high games, graphics, movies and music, so what’s better?

My computer keeps freezing up. It only seems to do it while I'm surfing the internet, and it doesn't matter what site I'm on. Right before it freezes, it will always make the sound like plugging or unplugging something from the USB port 3 or 4 times. After that, the computer comes to almost a complete standstill. If I'm able to get into the Task Manage and over to the performance tab, the CPU usage will be stuck at 100%. What is causing my computer to do this? Does it mean that:
A)I have a virus or spyware?
B)I am being hacked?
C)Something on my computer is going out?
D)Other?

I have the 7800gt by EVGA. I have a antec trio 430 watt power supply. antec make the greatest PS's. is 430 ps enough just to run this vid card?

I run one harddrive, amd athlon 64 3500 and one case fan and one dvdrw dual layer. Thanks

My mouse pointer behaves erractically. While I'm working, the pointer will move and my screen will lock up. Sometimes the point will change shapes and make the screen scroll up or down randomly. I've plugged in different brands of mice and even tried using the touchpad on my laptop, but the problem perists. What's wrong with my mouse and how can I fix it.

In other words, if I buy an external DVD RW drive, will I be able to rip my DVDs onto my hard drive? Or is a DVD RW purely from burning movie files ALREADY ON YOUR HARD DRIVE onto a DVD CD?

i can open it with a pin in the pin hole, but if i put a cd in that way it wont read. And the light on the drive just blinks all the time. If i push the eject button it wont open. I think this started to happen when i did a right click and clicked eject.

OK, first, I don't know anything about computers. I know that I need to upgrade my RAM to play a certain computer game. Now, I have 256MB of RAM, I need at least 1GB (I want 2gb!) I also recetnly learned that not all computers can hold the same amount of RAM, I have a Dell Dimension 4550.

Where do I found out how much RAM my computer can hold, if you cant tell me. (If you can but need more info, just tell me what, and where to find it. lol. I'm completely clueless!

I have/had (who knows) a virus on my pc. It was eating up all the space on my pc. I didn't know I had the virus at first, so I thought I just had too many program and whatnot. I deleted a LOT of stuff and every few minutes, I still get Windows is Running Low on Disc Space. I checked the Norton Antivirus thingy and it said that it detected very corrupted files and there was airus on my pc. I went to system restore (like I've done so many tims before) and it had several dates in blue that I could go back to. But the only day I could actually click on was today's date. I know I have a lot of other restore points within the last two weeks. Why can't I go back?

I have a problem with my computer. When i switch it on its working but no signal is coming to the monitor. I've tried another monitor another RS232 cable (video cable), i've tried another graphic card, i've double-checked all the connections inside the computer but still in vain. Otherwise everything else seems to be just fine. The HDD is working, the CD and DVD ROMs are working the mouse and the keyboard are working as well. What i'm thinking is that either the motherboard or the CPU have some kind of problem. My motherboard is ASUS P4500-MX / 963SIS. Can somebody give me any clue. I will really appriciate any help given.

i dont know why am i experiencing this sometimes.... whenever i open any application , my pc turns off automatically...

-sometimes, in the middle of my gameplay of an online game... my computer turns off too..

-sometimes, when i open some site and the page is loading... my computer turns off !!

-i just thought maybe the problem is my pc needs to be cleaned.. but then when im opening the Disk clean up program from system tool ...my computers always turning off!!!

my PC is one year old.. windows XP pentium 4, 512MB ram 30gb HD..
