There are 2 kind of root causes,
1. Your CPU may reach a criticl temperature during opeartion, so pls check with your heatsink fan first, probably dust stuck in fan may causing similar problem.
2. Windows system file corrupt or spyware even virus may causing system intermittenly auto power off during operation, pls update your antivirus software first to check whether got virus on your PC or not. If no, then you may need to format your HDD & re-install OS.
If you already try as above, than may suggest you to go for PC service centre to verify the problem.

You're computer only needs some basic manteinance. First you need to defrg all the HD, and if it's posible buy a new one with more capacity, then try to to uninstall some programs that load at the system start or go to win+r-->msconfig-->start, and disable some programs, at games you should buy some Graphics Accelerator Card and buy more RAM for your system, at least try to upgrade it up to 1 Gb.

Sounds like a weak or dieing power supply. Peak load..KERCHINK ! If its shutting down like that its harming your drive every time it slams the read head into the platter. Try a different power supply. For your system, 350 watts and up please. Durring the times it will not start right back up, unplug the power supply...flip the switch on the supply if it has one and replug. Start right back up? power supply. (nods) Word: its slowly destroying your drive. When you fix the problem, do a FULL format and not a quick one. You'll get the errors your creating added to an error map during the format and windows wont use those areas.

I believe you have a virus. Get a virus scanner and scan. If it comes up with nothing, try another program. That same thing was happening to my friend, turned out he had a couple (hundred) viruses. Unless you want to buy a new computer, find and destroy the virus.
