I connected my computer to the TV monitor, so I can watch movies on the big screen. I was able to do that. However, my computer only supports one screen. So, in order to connect to the TV, I need to unplug the computer monitor and plug the TV monitor in. What do I need to buy in order to see the same view on both, computer and TV. Thanks!

My laptop computer screen was damaged and I was wondering if there is anyway that it can be repaired. The screen is cracked and the screen is mostly white except for a little bit on the top. Will I be able to send it in to the computer company to get it repaired?

I'm thinking of replacing my 17"LCD monitor with a 26". However, i'm worried 26" might be a bit too big and i'd have to sit as far back as possible. the monitor will sit on my desk and will be used for normal every day tasks such as web browsing and word processing. I'm also looking to connect it to my xbox 360 every now and then. is this a practical size? if not what would be and what featuresshould i look aout for apart from obviously pc input and HD(for the xbox)? thanks

I got like 16 I think. I want to know how to link them all together. To piece the monitors together and make a big screen out of them that share one image, not have the same image coppied onto each screen. Able to move the mouse around to all the screens and still be able to do everything with them all linked together.

k, we got this wide screen monitor for our computer but when i plug it in everything is stretched and it looks terrible! When you play full screen movies on it, they take up the entire screen, wide screen movies play in a little strip on the screen. is there anyway to tell the computer that it's a wide screen monitor? perhaps a free program i can download?

I was looking at the Mini-DVI to DVI cable that you can get with a MacBook or whatever and i saw it looks really short, something like 10 cm. So my question is, how would I use that to connect my MacBook to my monitor? Is there somethign else I have to do rather than directly connecting the two with the short cable?

There was a black space all around the screen where the display once was. I went to my Control panel settings and adjusted the resolution and made some font and icon adjustments so my text did not look microscopic after changing the resolution. It runs fine using ATT Yahoo browser except that some of my text is still pretty tiny, like in parts of my email notification and my toolbar. I have restore capability but for some reason there were no available times to reset to. Just wondering if anyone has had a similar issue and what they did about it? I know there are desktop monitor adjustments. Are there laptop screen adjustments. I can't seem to find any on mine.

Basically every time I switch on my PC within 3 mins the monitor turns off. Then I have to turn my PC off and on again sometimes up to 5 times before the monitor starts to work again. But yet again after around 3 mins the monitor goes off. I am pretty sure it has nothing to do with my graphics card as it is brand new and exactly the same as my old one. (I had no problems with my old card or my PC at that time)

I have a new hard drive and there is def nothing wrong with my power supply as it has been tested and is in perfect working order.

It is not the cable. Could it be a fault with my monitor? Or is it more serious? At the moment it is not worth having a PC as I can't really do anything in 3 mins. It has took me many tries just to write this.

PLEASE OFFER A SOLUTION. WHAT COULD IT BE AND WHAT IS IT NOT? WHAT CAN I TRY? PLEASE HELP.
SERIOUS ANSWERS ONLY PLEASE.

Before my 3 year old son messed around with the computer the graphics looked decent. Probably the "high color" setting, when you go into "display" through the control panel. Now it's set to 16 color and I just can't fix it. I've went to display, clicked "high color", and then restarted the computer like it says but it always comes back 16 bit. I'd like an idea how to fix this please as the 16 color graphics are horrible!!!

on my monitor. Going to properties and that didn't help, because it won't let me drag the little bar down to decrease my size, and only 16 colors are available.

I just got an 8600GTOC and I'm using it to play games on a 19 inch widescreen HP monitor (1440x900). When I have my games in full screen mode for a while at a time, I notice that at the very edges there will be a tiny bit of white that appears to vibrate. It has happened on the top and side how my screen, very small parts each. When I alt tab to another screen, then go back to it, the interference disappears.

I don't want to wreck the card by having it overheat or something. Any idea if this is related or what's causing it? Anything to worry about?
