ihave a samsung lcd tv monitor,is there anyway i can run my computer through the telly to get sound from my telly?

Probably.

Since you do not say what connectors are on the TV, or what model the TV is it is impossible to be definite.

I would suspect that the TV has red and white RCA connectors for audio. You just need a 3.5 mm stereo to dual RCA cable to go from your line out or speaker out on the PC to the audio in on the TV.

If your telly has a green speaker plug in it yes run the speaker wire from your computer green plug to the TV green plug.
