hdcp compatible?

I have a windows vista dell computer. My monitor is Generic Pnp. is there a way i can find out if my computer is hdcp compatible??

First off HDCP only works over a digital link. So if you are using a VGA connection (Blue connectors) then HDCP is not relevant.

If you are using a DVI connection (White connectors) then you will need HDCP to play hi-def movies. You find out if you have HDCP you need to look at the monitor and system specifications.
