Does it have the proper connectors from the screen to the hardrive?

You don't connect the screen to the hard drive actually.
A pentium 2 system CAN be connected to an LCD if you have the proper video card adapter. Systems that old typically use VGA outputs. So just make sure the LCD you have has that connector.
Also, you probably want to be running Windows 2000 at least on that system so you can have the proper drivers for it.

if the new lcd monitor has a d-sub SVGA connector it can be connected directly. If the new monitor only has a DVI input, it can still be connected but via an adapter
