Loose cable connection at the connector points, or faulty tube.

Buy a new monitor, It's just going to get worse.
LG electronics are garbage.
I have a friend who runs a company that picks up large electronics to be returned (big screen t.v., copiers,Home entertainment units, etc.) and about 75% of the stuff he has to take back are made by LG.
