Before my 3 year old son messed around with the computer the graphics looked decent. Probably the "high color" setting, when you go into "display" through the control panel. Now it's set to 16 color and I just can't fix it. I've went to display, clicked "high color", and then restarted the computer like it says but it always comes back 16 bit. I'd like an idea how to fix this please as the 16 color graphics are horrible!!!

if it was working before you lovely son had fun with it, do a systems restore if you are using os xp. and that may fix it. my son is 6 years old and i have become an expert in weired computer miscellanea/

Your best and quickest fix would be to connect to the internet and download the drivers for your video card, reinstall the drivers, then lock the PC when your son is around...:)
