Basically I want to run dual monitors on my G5. I have two LaCie monitors a 22 and a 15 inch. However, they both use VGA. I have the 22 connected to the G5 via a vga-dvi adapter. But I've been looking for a vga-adc adapter and the only ones that I've found are really expensive, or are no longer being made.

Does anyone know if it will work if I do this: vga-dvi-adc? because i've seen dvi-adc adapters that are fairly inexpensive. So I'm wondering if I use a vga-dvi adapter with a dvi-adc adapter, will it work?

I have an HP Media Center PC that came preinstalled with an Nvidia GeForce 7350LE video card. I'd now like to upgrade that card to one that supports dual monitors. What's a good dual-monitor video card?

My monitor has two slots in the back, one is for VGA the other is for DVI and is a Dual Link type:
http://www.lyberty.com/encyc/articles/tech/img/all-DVI-types.jpg
I need the 4th one on that picture

I want to be able to plug in my computer (VGA) aswell as my Xbox 360 at the same time. However with Only one VGA slot and both the computer and the Xbox using it I have to keep swapping them and changing them around.

Where can I get a converter which will change a VGA connector into a male DVI Dual Link so I can plug both into the monitor at the same time.

It is the Dual Link part I'm having trouble with as all suppliers seem to be selling the "DVI-I (Digital And Analogue) Dual Link" when what I need is "DVI-D (DVI Digital) Dual Link"

The DVI-I connector won't fit because there are extra pins anfd no holes for them

thanks

Well, I have a Samsung 940MW LCD TV monitor. My problem is that when I use it as an HD TV with my Xbox 360 in 1080i, there is a white pixel which appears only against a dark enough background. The thing is, there are no pixel problems when the screen is being used with the PC. I also switched the 360 to Standard TV mode (ie non-HD) and the white pixel is nowhere to be found. It's the same case for running it 720p... Obviously, I'd much rather play in 1080i. I've never heard of a problem like this before and I haven't been able to correct the pixel using any of the techniques I've researched.
Also, there is sometimes a green stuck pixel which appears but I can get rid of this by turning the monitor and 360 off at the same time.... I'm not sure if that's what's actually causing it to disappear, but it seems to work. Anyway, this white pixel is annoying me greatly and all help is appreciated!

I don't have this problem with any other program. can you guys tell me how to fix my frequency or the problem I'm having?

When I was working on my computer last night, I had to leave it alone for a few minutes to do something else, when I came back to finish what I was doing it had already gone into the sleep mode, than when I tried to wake it up, the screen came up for a couple of seconds than changed back to a black screen, almost as if it was going back to sleep. But I could just barely make out what was on the screen, but not enough to do anything. Tried shutting everything down and rebooting everything, but nothing, turned the screen off than on again, comes on for a short second than goes black again. Connections are all okay. Not sure if maybe my monitor has bit the big one or not, or if something is on my computer itself doing this.

I was pretty much ready to fire it out the door last night.

So, anyway that's my problem. If anyone has any suggestions they would be very much appreciated. Thanks!

G'day, my fp72g monitor died tonight when i was playing a game. It gave a white flash as i saw the pixels turning white then blank then i couldnt see anything. So i restarted my computer saw that the on off light responded accordingly with standby and on but the screen displayed nothing. My brother recently had the same problem with his monitor(we both got it at the same time) and im pretty sure its something 2 do with the backlight inverter. Now my question is i wish to repair this by myself because i have a lan party coming up, whats the best way to do this and what sorta parts am i looking for???? Also if you live in australia could you tell me where i can purchase the parts.

So I got this Acer AL2216W LCD Screen about a year ago and I don't seem to remember if it had that glossy screen where you can see your reflection. It sure doesn't now and it looks cloudy and gross. I don't know if any of you guys have the same monitor as me but it would help if you could mention to me if it used to have the gloss, and if it did and it doesn't on mine, what should I use to clean it? Thanks in advance

My dad is deciding between a 17 inch and 19 inch monitor. But he's saying someone told him not to get a 17 inch, because the 19 inch is better. Does anyone know why a 19 inch would be better, except for the fact that it's bigger?

Do 19 inch screens last longer?

Do 19 inch screens have better graphics, or something?

Also, has anyone heard of the brand MAG?? For computer monitors. Is it good?

I am going to start building a computer for myself over the next two years (I will need 2 Christmases worth of money lol). Anyway one of the first things I am going to invest in is a monitor. I really enjoy programming so I am looking for something 22+ in size preferably 24-28. I was wondering where is the best place to get a monitor this size.
