Basically I want to run dual monitors on my G5. I have two LaCie monitors a 22 and a 15 inch. However, they both use VGA. I have the 22 connected to the G5 via a vga-dvi adapter. But I've been looking for a vga-adc adapter and the only ones that I've found are really expensive, or are no longer being made.

Does anyone know if it will work if I do this: vga-dvi-adc? because i've seen dvi-adc adapters that are fairly inexpensive. So I'm wondering if I use a vga-dvi adapter with a dvi-adc adapter, will it work?

What you will need as an ADC to DVI-I or DVI-A adapter.

A brief look on the web shows ADC to DVI-D adapters, but that is digital only and you need the analog connection that DVI-I or DVI-A has. Those appear to be in the $100 ballpark.

These are CRT monitors? The LaCie monitors are very high end, all the LCD ones I can see come with DVI-D connectors.
