It's pretty annoying, its makes a loud clicking noise, and it bugs the hell out of people when I type, especially in class. Sounds like it's loose, any ideas? Could I take it in or am I stuck with it?

I am a law student and I need to make sure my computer is always at peak performance. I have heard that turning it off and on can wear on the machine from some. What do you guys recommend?

When I connect to WiFi the speed is 54Mbps. The speed slowly declines to 0 unless I right click the wireless icon and click repair. When I do this it resumes 54Mbsp. I must constantly repair to keep the speed up.

I know that dell's recall of laptop batteries involved their laptops with a certain series of sony made batteries, i've got a vaio laptop with a battery serial of vgp-bps2b, should there be any problem with any non-dell, sony bateries, because apple also recalled a few laptops on the same grounds?

I am looking a a used laptop for my son. He will only be using it at the house so if it will still work while being plugged into the wall then that is fine.

Just a few fingerprints here and there. The manual says to use a damp cloth, but I don't find that to be very effective on the screen. I'm very protective over it :)

I've got a Toshiba Qosmio G25 AV513, so it's still relatively new and it was pretty expensive. Anyway, it hasn't really given me any problems until a couple of days ago. It just shut off on me. I'm not really sure why, and all I know is I was watching TV in media center both times. I don't think I was abusing it that badly though. Anyway, it won't turn back on for a few minutes, and then when it does it says the battery is low. I hardly even unplug it though. So that makes me think something may be weird with the battery. I also do kinda abuse this comp too though, it's almost always on. So does it sound like a battery problem or just like I should be more careful with this computer? It was $3,000 less than a year ago, so I'm hoping it doesn't crap out for a really long time. Anyway, any help or input is appreciated.

Remanufactured to 100% performance standards Panasonic Toughbook laptop that includes: Intel Premium 300mhz, Windows 98, 6.0 gb, 128mb, 12.1" TFT Color screen, cd-rom, 56k fax/data/modem, type I, II, III slots, Rechargeable Li-ion battery, 2.3" H x 11.8" W x 9.5" D dimensions, and an AC adapter. Retail $679.95, plus I get a software package that includes 15 different things. I got this voucher from the publishers clearing house that pays for $400.00 of it if I respond by Sept. 12. I only have to pay $279.95 for it, and I can pay in installments if I want to. I already have this main comp that I am typing on right now, but I have kind of wanted a laptop. I'm just wondering if that this refurbished one is worth it, and for the price. Because a new toughbook laptop cost well over $2,000.00! Thanks!

I just bought a new laptop about a month ago, I have installed no new programs and it says I have only 200mb's of space left out of 80gb. What should I do? I think the number is wrong. How do I fix it. I have tried defrag and system cleanup on my computer but it has not helped.
