On yahoo voice chat,i am getting this msg audio mixer coud not be initialized.?

i am not able to do voice chat,i am getting an error msg that ,your computers audio mixer could not be initialized ,kindly tell me what to do????

it is really easy no wory let me tells u exactly what to do:

go to the optins on ur yahoo meesenger(preference)

then click audio and webcam stuff

click test on that audio and se what it'll tell u try to speak on ur mic and se if it sense any sound

if not check ur microphone wire may be not attached well or the microphone broken

if u had a webcam it got a microphone so it is better than the seperated microphhone u can tell if the eror from ur mic or the audio setup

if the audio setup is the error u ned to download the sound card cd again and if that is the mother board audio one u can do that:
insert the mother board cd setup and then let it try to fix the audio eror
if didn't work so that means the operating got the problem in sound,sometimes the microphne icon on ur speaker is mute
so check if the mic is not mute to work right ok.

u insert the windows cd and type repair and let it try to fix the error of the sound and then restart after getting the cd of the cdrom

and ur problem will be vanished
