Just seeing if anybody has had issues with this or not.

Currently I have Kingston HyperX PC3200 (400) 2X 512Mb sticks dual channel memory

Recently I have orderd OCZ PC3200 (400) 2X 1Gb sticks dual channel aswell.

I have 4 slots on the mobo and was wondering If I use the Kingston along with the OCZ would there be any potential problems.

Both sets are dual channel and have the same timmings??

How come some PCI video cards have 2 slots to plug into the PCI slot, for example like this.

and some of them have 3 like this

Does it really matter? Since both cards are PCI, shouldn't they both be able to fit inside the slot?

I have an HP All in One Printer. Its worked fine up until now. When I try to print something, nothing comes out. The printer is all plugged in, turned on and everything, and it doesnt says there isnt an error. what should i do?

my computer crashed a couple years ago and it just hasnt been the same, i have spybot search & destroy, ad-aware, Avast Anit-virus, & CCleaner installed which i run frequently. I have supposebly "erased" everything off the hard drive using some cd and reinstalling windows but it still runs slow and freezes alot...any advise? whats the best and cheapest thing i can do to get it running normal.
ps...computer is about 5 years old...and i'm running XP

i have recently bought a computer which has a DVI port, but my monitor which i have bought has only got a VGA cable end.
i know i am surpose to look for a VGA to DVI converter, but i on my computer it has somethin like the picture on the link:

on the DVI end, it has a cross and four dots around it.
i have looked online, and all of them i have seen does not have a cross and four dots, but only have a strike line going across, like this:

i was wondering, would they work for my computer, and if it doesnt please can you tell me what i actually need.

I partitioned my hard drive a few days ago while using vista to install ubuntu and i have realized that my windows has started slowing down a lot since i did so but my ubuntu is working fine. I want to know if there is any way to undo this hard drive partition even if it means to restore it to factory settings with a recovery disk. Thank you.

My laptop's screen recently quit working. It turned off suddenly after working fine. I thought it was my laptop but it turned on momentarily but then when I moved my screen, it turned back off, so I'm quite confident there's a problem in the connection between the computer itself and the lcd screen. Does anyone know how much this costs to repair? Do you have to take it to a qualified person or is it easy enough that a computer knowledgable person could do it?
I have a Toshiba Satellite M30 - purchased at the end of 2004.

80 gb hard drive, plan to patition 10 + 40 + 30 gb
c: windows xp pro
d: ms office and all other programs
e: for backup

windows often need restoration or even clean install
now, if i do it as above ... i will be relieved of reinstalling the other programs after a format / clean install of os in c:

I have a sony notebook which I upgraded to the memory to 2gb. In each slot there is 1gb of memory equaling 2gb. What would happend if I decide to put 2gb of memory into each slot for a total of 4 gb? The specs say that the max is 2gb.

hello friends,
I've recently bought a Viewsonic 19'' TFT monitor, Model-VA1912wb

Now I 've a Dual boot system, WinXP professional & Win98 SE. Its fine with Xp but 98 is giving problem. The accompanying disc has 98 drivers & I tried to install the driver from it, but Win98 somehow cannot install it....its running in safe mode.

When I'm trying to install the driver using device manager & giving the path for the driver file, Win98 displays that it cannot find the file when in reality the file is there.
Say the file name is VA1912.icc but win98 saying its searching for a file named VA1912.ic....lookz like its having problem with the file extension....

can u plzz suggest me something?
