I connected two dvi monitors with one video card and a dvi splitter. i can only get one monitor to work.

If you switch which monitor is on which ouput of the splitter, and the other monitor suddenly works, it would imply a faulty splitter.

Sounds like you should read the directions. I've never seen anything in dual-monitor set-ups that says to use a splitter. If you read the directions where it says to use an extra video card for this set-up.

Have you try putting in another video card. It's just a thought. Because I never try the thing you doing. If it doesn't work contact a computer tech
