I just had this problem in my office building this morning. Power the printer off, unplug ALL cords from it, and wait about 30 seconds. Turn it back on and you should be all ready to go. This operation will clear all the print jobs so you can start clean.

Suggest you e-mail HP for support. I had a problem and HP was very helpful, supplied a fix, and checked back to see if everything was all right.

My problem started after downloading IE7. HP was on top of the bug and quickly solved my problem.

Before you e-mail, get out your order number, customer number, SN of the printer, Model, anything to identify yourself as a valid user.

Sounds like a printer malfunction. Take out the plugs and then plug them back in. If that‘s not the case, the printer driver is corrupt...so you will have to re-install the device driver (CP>Printers & Hardware).
