Also my PC is beeping at a 40 second interval, just one beep. Anyone know what it means

I have 2 desktops and I want to link them to run simultaniously and share eachothers workload in an intelligent manner. I do not want to use an A-B switch. For example...If desktop 1 is running a couple applications and computer 2's is not, computer 2 would use its unused memory and/or processing power to help out desktop one and visa versa. Thanks for any help

I want to get a good one but im not sure what one would be good to pick. i want to get one that will work with my pc but will also be powerful.

I recently purchased a set of LOGITECH Z-5500 5.1 SPEAKERS + Sub. They worked perfectly last night, but this morning when i tried to power them up, i turned the master power switch back on, and the power didn't seem to come through to the control panel, making it not able to work.

Warranty is still up.

i dont care if its a AMB or a Petium i would just like to get a dual core for my pc. right now my pc has a AMD 64bit Athlon processor. it works well but i just need more power for some of the stuff i do on my pc. my pc is the HP provilion a1130m. a friend of mine said that i might not be able to do this because of the sockets on my mother bored but im not sure so please if you could mabye look for my pc on the internet and mabye tell me if this is ture or tell me about a dual core proccessor that will work with my pc. thanks

I have a laptop and there is a thin green stripe going down the monitor. Does this mean my monitor is going to be breaking soon and be no good? Can you fix it or make the green stripe go away? I got a bunch of old computers, and I want to update the graphics card. I got my friend over whos really good with computers and he said the first thing I needed to do was upgrade my power supply for all the computers. He gave me a power supply he wasn't using, which is 550 w. max. and we swapped it with a 200 w. So then he gives me an graphics card he stole from his brother, we went to put it in, but it was an AGP card, and all the computers i have are PCI express. My friend now left, and im stuck shopping for a PCI card. Thing is I know nothing about graphics cards, when I shop for a graphics card, what do I look for. Are there any suggestions on what I should get. I have a VERY limited buget and i'm looking for something 70 bucks or less.

I want to spend about $100-$150 on one, it has to have good, smooth game performance and great graphics as well but performance matters more.

My nano is completely dead. The buttons don't work, the screen doesn't work, and the boot up doesn't work. My question is: can I make it an external harddrive w/o being able to open the files? It is unrecognized by windows, but shows up in management. What drivers or files can I get to fix this.

NOTES: I have the latest itunes and ipod updater.
It shows up in the pop up window, but not in "My Computer".
IT IS DEAD...except for the usb and harddrive.
I just want a harddrive, not an ipod.
