Each printer has a set life expectancy, my old Epson printer was barely a year old and had served me well, it was never kncoekd or scratched or anything, but it just said it need mainentence and that was that, it no logner worked as it had been programmed to stop working after so many pages, there doing this with other printers, which if you';ve not bought one recently, they are no longer putting in the USB cable thingy, which is very annoying. If you need a good printer, I suggest the Canon iP4300 for £60, its really good and fast.

Either the wrong driver for the Operating System you're using, or a corrupted driver.
Do a search for " driver" in any search engine.
