can anyone say how to connect the videojacket of cd player to my pc with out having the tv tuner or video card

CD player or DVD/video player ? To connect a DVD/video player you will need a video card. To play your CD player (music only) through your computer you need a 6mm(?) jack to 6mm(?) jack plug (the same one you use for headphones) and connect the headphone socket of your CD player to the microphone socket of your computer and start your CD player. Look at the bottom right hand side of your screen and double click the speaker symbol there and then enable the inputs one at a time until you get sound from your speakers. (It will probably be the "microphone" input that works or the "line in") "Mute" the ones you are not using.
