I want to spend about $100-$150 on one, it has to have good, smooth game performance and great graphics as well but performance matters more.

Anyone know of a video card that meets that criteria?

In that price range it comes down to the GeForce 7600GT (for AGP systems), or choosing between the Geforce 8600GT, Radeon X1950 Pro or GeForce 7900GS (for PCI-Express systems).

Of these three, the X1950 Pro is the fastest out of the box, but doesn't overclock as well as the 7900GS. The 8600GT has DirectX10 support but is slower than the other two.

Newegg and Tigerdirect are both good, but personally I've found way more rebates/deals on Newegg.

Depends on what kind of card your motherboard supports. AGP , PCI , PCI Express ...???

Once you determine that , go to newegg.com , they have alot of great deals.

Yeah.. find out what slots your motherboard has.. I wouldnt really go to www.newegg.com.. they seem to have a lot higher prices. I would use www.tigerdirect.com.
