im using Asus p4p800E deluxe motherboard with Nividia Geforce FX5500 graphic card.is it a good combination?

Your graphics card is slow and a bit outdated.
Cheap options: ATI 9600 Pro, Geforce 7300GS AGP
Better options: 7300GT AGP, 7600GS AGP, X1650 Pro AGP
Awesome options: ATI X1950 Pro or XT AGP, Geforce 7950 GT AGP.

yeah it WAS a good card now its outdated big time and its AGP if you want a new graphics card i reccoment a new motherboard which requires new ram and cpu but youll get PCI-E x16 which is the new standard for graphics card but you can get the new Direct X 10 cards then

GeCure HD 2400PRO 256MB AGP may be suitable for viewing HD movie.
Geforce 8500GT / 8400GS may fit for you requirement.
Remember, buy the graphic card in AGP version.
