Some time in the near future i plan on upgrading my video card once again. Right now i have a GeForce 7300 GS 512 MB PCI Express x16. The thing is that my computer isn't SLI Ready being because it's a Shutle XPC SN21G5. So my question is, what's the best non-SLI Ready video card can i get for my system? It must be in PCI Express x16 range, or just a basic PCI video card because it has the slot for that as well. But i just want to know what's the best non-SLI Ready PCI Express x16 card i can get?

I'm thinking of upgrading my computer and I just want to upgrade one or two parts at a time. What should I start with?

Here's what I have now:
ASUS A8N-SLI Motherboard (939 slot),
AMD 64 FX-55 processor,
1 Geforce 7800 GTX graphics card,
2 GIG Corsair RAM,
Westerdigital hard drives (SATA connected),
500w powersupply.

My first thoughts are to just go for a new motherboard and the new Intel duel cores but I wanted to see what you guys thought. I mostly use my computer for gaming. Thanks for the help.

I like the features of this Gateway laptop, but the speakers just sound so weak. They are nothing like the Altec Lansing speakers that Compaq and HP laptops come with. Why do they skimp on something that should not be such a huge expense for the manufacturer?

Alright for some time now i've had a Shuttle XPc SN21G5 that i bulit a few months back. My system has a AMD Athlon 64 3800+ 2.41 GHz Processor, 2.00 GB or RAM (max that it can go to), 160 GB SATA Hard drive, and a NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GS 512 MB PCI Express x16. Now this thing is that i'm planing on upgrading my card for my system being that it's going to be the second card for it. My question is, what better video card can i put in it? The system isn't SLI Ready so it's just a basic PCI Express x16 video card that's in it. Can anyone help?

Is this feature overhyed sales gimmick?

I have heard some people say that many things are not even programmed to accept dual core and that it is only good if you are doing heavy applications (video games) or multi tasking, which I dont really do , except when I run spyware checks. Any thoughts otherwise about this ?

all of a sudden the rom drive on my laptop would not eject. it does not do anything and the disc lamp is lit all the time. there's a cd-rw stuck inside which i cant remove coz it wont eject. this happened right after the internet interruption due to the earthquake in taiwan. is it connected? help anyone!
