I'm thinking of upgrading my computer and I just want to upgrade one or two parts at a time. What should I start with?
Here's what I have now:
ASUS A8N-SLI Motherboard (939 slot),
AMD 64 FX-55 processor,
1 Geforce 7800 GTX graphics card,
2 GIG Corsair RAM,
Westerdigital hard drives (SATA connected),
500w powersupply.
My first thoughts are to just go for a new motherboard and the new Intel duel cores but I wanted to see what you guys thought. I mostly use my computer for gaming. Thanks for the help.

The hard drives are 150gig and I think 10,000 rpm. Yeah, I forgot about the fact that most games are up to speed with the whole duel core thing. If I stick with the FX-55 and upgrade my power supply and video card will I come across any (can't think of the word) backing up of information throught the processor?
Basicly is the will that processor keep up with the latest video cards?
