Close all your applications
Disconnect the printer from the computer
Start
Settings
Printers And Faxes
Delete the printer or and other printer with the same name
Go to HP's web site and download or if you have the printer driver cd and install the drivers.
When installing the printer drivers in may have you go through a step by step prodecure - connecting the printer, powering it on.
If not, Connect the printer to the back of the computer and power it on.
If the computer is not recongizing the printer, the cable connecting the printer to the computer maybe bad - try a different cable

I would try reinstalling the drivers if you haven't already done so, apart from that the only thing left to do is to get in contact with HP, this may not help you in time for Friday but it still should be under guarantee, save your assignments to disk and print them out on a friends printer or college, library, work etc

Is it plugged in? :D

sorry, i don't know the next thing about printers. Try pressing all the buttons! Check for paper and ink too!

About the assignments, save it on a memory stick and charge it on your uni/college/school! Dont stress, stay calm!

not enough info to help you....is the printer processing the job? IE could be out of ink...or did you have a job that didn't print? then it could be as simple as going in and deleting it out of your print queue...so re-ask your question...state exactly how the print jobs are failing and what if any error messages you have..then maybe I could give a little more direction

Go to HPStore, and either get the phone number of ask for a chat with a technician. HP has excellent support for its products. Get the serial number to call.
