Some time in the near future i plan on upgrading my video card once again. Right now i have a GeForce 7300 GS 512 MB PCI Express x16. The thing is that my computer isn't SLI Ready being because it's a Shutle XPC SN21G5. So my question is, what's the best non-SLI Ready video card can i get for my system? It must be in PCI Express x16 range, or just a basic PCI video card because it has the slot for that as well. But i just want to know what's the best non-SLI Ready PCI Express x16 card i can get?

My system's power supply doesn't have the power hook up's for an SLI Ready video card, that's why i'm asking.

The price range i don't really care about, all i want to know is what's the best non-SLI Ready video card can i get that PCI Express x16, and that the card doesn't need it's own power hook-up.

Nvidia 7950X2 is the best solution that was existing abt a month ago, and this is simply two Nvidia 7950 geforce cards atached which uses only one Pci Express slot, but unfortunately for you this card seems going off stock and market,

and another best Nvidia that you might wanna buy is Nvidia 8800GTX, which sells abt 600 U$D, and this card alone performs and beats any SLI or crossfire solution that you could buy now,

even the prices are still sky rocketing, you might wanna consider the opponents, ATI X1950XTX which only costs you about 450 U$D, and it sure is not the competition for Nvidia 8800GTX since its not a DX10 card, but if ur an ATI fan you might wanna wait a little bit for ATI to realease their DX10 card, and by then the prices on nvidia would drop so you could catch up a great deal. when Manufacturers compete, consumers we win .... yea juz like that bro,

and when money is not a problem why not get a good powesuply that will give you enough juice for your system and high tech card who will show you all the eyecandy graphics,

hope my answer helped, good luck

That would be any PCI-E card period. Just because a card is SLI or crossfire ready doesn't mean you have to have 2 cards or 2 slots. Goto www.tomshardware.com for video benchmarks to give you an idea of what a video card can do.

Ka- Ching! DX10 goodness! Warning...will put a serious hurt on the wallet!

Edit:
If you can afford this card you can afford a new power supply!
