I want to copy a file on the network from one pc's desktop to an other's desktop using DOS (Command Prompt). Is it possible?

the ip of source pc is 192.168.0.1 and the distanation is 192.168.0.2

I dont asking about file sharing but just want to know how to send a file on other's desktop through "Comman Prompt"

i had recently gone to my relatives house and saw their computer table it was good...it had wheels and it had an overall good quality build....i asked them and they said it comes in a package and the guys come and then assemble the table at home. at it costs only rs.1300.....i didnt have the opportunity to ask them which brand it was or where i could get it...where can i get it? or which company makes it?? any help will be greatly appreciated....

I bought a clone on september 12, 2006. The processor is a VIA Samuel 2 (or something close to that). Since that time, I have had to buy three keyboards since the others get totally unfunctional. When they get spoilt, the first indication is all the lights (Num Lock, Caps Lock, and Scroll Lock) on or blinking even when the machine itslef is off but connected to active power supply. And that's the end of the keyboards.
At first I thought it was virus activity but having installed the latest anti-virus software, no virus was detected. What could be the problem?

I want to hook my portable external hard drive to my portable dvd player
so I can play movie files through my dvd player. Is there a cord or adapter device athat can make this possible? I already know about potable dvd players that already have a usb port on them I am trying to avoid buying one.

I'm using a laptop. OS is XP SP2. 40GB external. I've been using my external hard disk for almost a year with no problem. But a couple of days ago, my external icon don't appear in MY COMPUTER. It detect the external and beeps like normal. And also i can't safely remove hardware like always. I even test it on other computers but the results is just the same. All my important data are inside it. How do i recover the data?? Someone help me please...

as mentioned in my previous posts , my budget is around 37k but i can stretch it to 40-42 k rupees.i am getting hpdv1743 tu 1.86 core solo with winxp home for 42000 rs. compaq c303tu core solo for38000 without xp home, toshibasatellite l100for 43000 rs with xp home but no widescreen and finally lenovo n100 core solo for40k without windows. which one to buy keeping battery life in mind

Building a pc for my brother for xmas, and at this point I have everything unhooked except the board and psu. It powers on, the monitor totally doesnt see it, as if its hibernating, and after about five minutes the thing just shuts off. New psu, and the board worked fine in a previous computer.I also tried another psu for kicks and same result. About an hour ago the monitor was coming on and a few minutes into installing windows it kicked off and has been doing this ever since. Any off the wall ideas besides my board decided to crap out?

My printer isn't printing. I had my black ink cartridge filled a few month ago at Island inkjet. My coulour ink has been slowly running out of ink but I figured since I don't print much couloured stuff why replace it

My printer is a cannon Multipass mp370. It is now about a year old. I have so far have had little problem with it

Is this just an ink issue or something else. Would there be anything else that needs to be replaced. Also maybe it isn't a good idea to refill cartidges

Any suggestions or ideas?

In a duo core processor, generally what is the processor speed in Gigahertz?
I have heard that there are two merged 64 bit processors in a duo core processor. So if there are two 3Ghz processors,then how the speed of the two processors are combined in the duo core processor?

Ok, I saw another post similar but I can still run windows from my computer. Just recently, this message "0200" comes up whenever I turn on my computer. I reboot my computer about a dozen times or so then it starts working again with no problems.

So, is my hard drive damaged or is it a virus? I tried doing a system recovery to an earlier date but still have the same problem. Sound similar to anyone? Resolutions? Insights would be appreciated? Thanks!

I have had Toshiba Laptops for many, many years but the latest ones have really gone down hill. They Freeze up every 5 minutes (this is NOT an exaggeration) and won't go into Hibernation. Next time your at the computer store take a demo and try to put it into hibernation, you'll see what I mean. Years ago I wrote the CEO and told him of a battery problem, within a week I have a phone call and a new battery in the mail. Now I write the CEO about the above problems and NOTHING. I think I may try Sony next time.
