if its not in use u can trun it off. because if some thing happend to electricity ur thing will blow up

the problem with plugging in laptops with the battery insterted is eventually it will wear on the batteries life.. For example say you take your laptop out and then use it for a half hour and still have like 3 hours of battery life, well when you plug it in it so much with doing that the battery will start to wear out. Mine only lasts a half hour now because i made that mistake of not removing my battery when i plugged it in... Only plug the computer in with the battery if the battery is completely drained.

You're draining your notebook's battery life dude.
Take out the battery when you're not using it.

you will shorten you batteries life they are made to run down and recharged, it is best to check it out with the manufactures thats were you will get the best answer

Shouldn't be a problem - decent computers are built to be left on.
