I just bought a Vision Tek ATI Radeon X300SE
PCI Express 256MB with TV OUT Support
Now I did this because I want to try my TV, as it's Not Bad..
It's a Polaroid HDTV, 19Inch Flat Planel, I am Connecting my PC to the TV via a S-Video Cable,
The Drivers are Installed..
How can I go about Getting the Screen Covered, and Make it Clearer or Sharper.

I have an account presently with comcast cable also wfi connected.

But I've never traveled away from home w/my lap.

Hello Everyone,

Does any one know how I can make my PC mic hear me from 10 feet away? or do youknwo of a a good brand taht will do this automaticlly?

I currently have an HDTV with a computer hooked up to it and I want to by a program for voice recognition (probabbly dragon 9). I sit about 10 feet away from where the mic is. how can i set this up to hear my voice clearly and not yelling across te room (prefrably a very low talking voice...don't want to wake the rest of the house when they sleeping)?

i just installed a new fan and got some thermal paste on the motherboard ): . It now powers on, POST's, and then powers off. It takes approximately 5 or 6 seconds from start to finish of total uptime on the computer. Can somebody advise what i should do?

Just bought a new laptop (presario v6000) but i'm kindda' new with these things...what's best for the battery...do i have to unplug it every time i'm not using it? This is a Compaq desktop. At this point the only indication that it is even an electronic device is a little light blinking way on the back ofthe tower. Tried plugging it in to a spot on the strip that we know works..still nothing. Any ideas how this can be fixed?..or am I now the proud owner of a very unattractive paperweight.

Hey guys, I'm currently a 16 year old High School Jr. and I need a laptop for all this hectic work the teachers are throwing at me. I work at Pac-Sun so I have some form of money coming in to pay for a good amount of my stuff. Anyways, yeah, which one should I get and how do they stack up ? I'm willing to spend a good $700 maybe a little more if necessary.

My basic functions are basically gonna be Music (itunes), Movies, Adobe Photoshop CS2, Microsoft Word, and internet browsing.

The things I'm looking for are Wireless Internet and and SD Card Reader. And if not standard nowadays, a DVD drive.

I always see this AMD Turion 64, Intel Celeron M, Core 2 Duo and I have no clue what the hell they mean. Which is best ?

How much RAM would I need? Would 512 be OK? Should I go for the 1Gb?

You don't have to recommend me a specific laptop but if you did, that would be nice. I just need these questions answered.

And whats your opinion on Dells ? THANX

Please help, I turned off my computer using the power button because it was putting something in powerpoint I didn't want it to. So i wanted it to stop so I just held the power button down. Now when I try to turn it on it won't turn on!!! What should I do, is my computer dead??

My 4 year old pc is starting to slow down. I am capable of de-fragmenting, disc clean-up and scanning for viruses and spyware but thats where it ends. Where's the best place to find someone who will service my pc at home and not charge the earth or rip me off.
