please help me? i don't know what happened to my computer but i turned it on and it said f1=, or f10= system recovery. i tried those and nothing works. how can i get my computer running again and what is wrong with it?\

Check your keyboard. Is it plugged in real good and in right place? Sometime my wireless or USB keyboard don't work for weird reason (driver issues is likely) unless I use wired keyboard connected to standard keyboard port.

Sounds like the Hard disk drive is not turning ON you will have to open the case and Unplug the Hard Disk and plug it back in. If that does not work remove the hard disk and plug it in and see if you hear a Whirring noise with a few head positioning clicks. If thats ok check your Cmos Setting make sure your IDE is on Auto for everything and see if its getting detected if thats not working maybe the Hard disk bit the Dust and you will need to replace it. From what Im guessing this is an HP pc.

You probably have an HP computer. You shouldn t do anything at the F1 and F10. Wait and they will disappear. If they don t disappear push the escape key. Eventually windows will start.
