is it basically just a cheap graphic computer or w.e or is it ?also r apple better for games than pc?

No It's a System that is deticated for playing games alone alowing all the system resorces to go to the playing of that game, thus allowing higher graphics. In a sence it is a computer but just a dedicated one.

The Ps3 slender version is super cool..I already very own the fat version....making plans to purchase the hot version besides... Being the owner of Xbox 360 and PS3 i will actual inform you that PS3 has a miles extra suitable value for money than Xbox anyday inspite of with the unreduced value($399).... d

The PS3 stands for PlayStation 3. It is NOT a computer. It is a DVD player with extremely good graphics and and it is a games system that you have to buy. It also plugs into a television, not a monitor. Its reader, Blu-ray is what gives the games you buy and play and the DVDs you watch extremely good graphics.

well u can do alot of things on a ps3 on a computer but it i good for the graphics but wut it deff is its a real cheap bluray disc player since for one tha just does that is like 1000 bucks so u get that plus the things that makes ps3 so wanted and games are not better on apple cause most dont put to much into makeing them for it pc is the best way of going for good games and there are so many more options to choose from for a wide varity of games

Ok listen, if people from all over the country wait in line to get one all night, and people are fighting and killing each other just for a cheap computer? I dont think so do you? My opinion is its not a cheap computer but an advance in technology.

the apple computers i agree are better than the PC from dell or compaq. i think that the PS3 is also junk its to big and bulky and it costs wayyyy to much,i'd buy a Xbox 360 because they have better games the online is WAY better.

yes. the PS2 was a computer as well. they even came out with a kit for the PS2 that came with a VGA monitor cable, a hrad drive with linux loaded on it and a keyboard in mouse that turned it into a fully functional linux machine.

technically all gaming platforms are just computers.. PS3s are actually a little beefier than most computers though because of it's processors and blue ray drive..
