Definitely one is NOT slower than the other, and don't answer if you don't know what you are talking about. It is just a marketing ploy, they are the same thing. The actually bandwidth on each is 5336, some companies round to the closest number, others round up.

It indicates the speed capability of the memory (RAM). Likely either will work but it's always best to use memory that is the same for best performance.

The latter has undergone more intensive & discriminating testing for speed/reliabilty. No other difference .... fundamentally a marketing ploy.
