try reinstalling the cartriage
then turn the power off, then back on

try taking the ink cartridges out & putting them back in again. If you have an owners manual. Read the part of installing the cartridges. Look also on the bottom or the side of the unit, There may be a technical support toll free # to call or better yet call 1-800-555-1212 & ask for Lexmark cutomer service or technical support #. Lexmark? You get what you pay for. I am surprised that it lasted a whole cartridge as it is.

Try Canon. I dumped our Lexmark for a Canon and we've never been happier with our prints.

If the printer was working ok before you put new cart in then presumably you installed the cart incorrectly - re-read the instructions and re-install.

sounds like the heads on the ink jet might really be clogged up. Try running a head cleaning. If not it might have to be cleaned manually.

UN plug the printer from power then plug it in again. do that when the computer is off.
