my motherboard is ASUS P4S8X-MX but im not sure what type of processor is, all i know is my processor is pentium 4, 2.8 Ghz and my ram is 1 gb ddr2 ........my problem is.i just bought geforce graphic card (pci Express), there's no pci expres slot in my motherboard.........can u guyz help me which type of other motherboard is suitable for my pc? (what i mean a new motherboard which are suitable with my current proccessor and memory).

I bought a USB Flash Drive to back up my computer. My computer is 1 GB so I bought a 1GB flash drive. I was transferring "MY Documents" folder to the flash drive and the folder is 1.84 GB. How can that be? If only one folder is that much and there's so much more on the computer besides that folder, how can it all fit on a 1GB computer? I'm confused.

Everytime I print a paper it gets jammed. It keeps pulling all of the paper out of the paper tray all at once and it gets all jammed in there. I have tryed using expensive paper and cheap paper and it keeps doing it. I don't want to have to put in one paper at a time, so does anybody have any ideas?

Hey,

I'm having a problem with my laptop. Whenever I try to log in the icons don't appear and basically it just won't function (it's frozen). I've been trying to re-start it but even the "Turn Off Computer" menu buttons won't appear. I've tried turning it off, removed the battery, reconnected it and started it up again but the result's still the same (and the screen just keeps getting fuzzier).

I'm not exactly the most computer tech savvy person either so it's really becoming very irksome. I'm thinking that the problem may have stemmed from the other day when I was trying to save some files on a floppy disk and the damn program wouldn't respond and ended up "hanging".

It would be a huge relief if someone could point me to the right direction on what to do.

I am a Mac user - I prefer Mac, but I get REALLY upset with Apple company policy and business practices.

First of all, why do they immerse us with online, television, and print advertising when they still will not allow most 3rd-party retailers to sell their products? Why don't they accompany the advertisements with more locations where you can buy Mac software? My main gripe is that - in a city of almost 800,000 people, there are literally only 3 locations where I can go to shop for Mac software.

As well, Apple FORCES Mac users to purchase regular software upgrades. Most of the time, if you don't upgrade your software or OS when Apple tell you to, your day-to-day tasks are likely to stop dfunctioning. Some hardware and software with Mac becomes totally non-functional when you don't upgrade.

Because of all this, I still have to keep a Windows PC around.

If Apple really wants a bigger chunk of the home computer market, why don't they become more friendly to their customer

I always have to click the "thumbnails" icon every time i want to look at my folders in thumbnails. I dont want lists, icons, details, etc. I JUST WANT "THUMBNAILS"!!!!!!
